Sirolimus Topical Cream Compounded

Sirolimus is an immunosuppressant and anti-cancer drug known as an mTOR Kinase Inhibitor. By inhibiting a protein in cells known as mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), it helps to suppress the growth and reproduction of cancer cells and other rapidly growing cells in the body. When taken orally, sirolimus is used to treat cancers or conditions where the immune system needs to be suppressed, such as in lymphangioleiomyomatosis or organ transplants. However, when compounded into an ointment or gel, it can be applied topically for more local action to manage angiofibromas due to tuberculosis sclerosis. You may buy Sirolimus from CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy with a valid prescription from your prescriber.
